The 12th edition of the Reveil broadcast took place on Dawn Chorus Day, over the first weekend in May 2025.
The London soundcamp at Stave Hill Ecological Park, Rotherhithe began at 12 noon on Saturday 3 May. Sounds were played out in the PITCH auditorium by public works, with food cooked collectively with the help of Cameron Bray. It featured workshops by Shortwave Collective and a Chemigraphic Florilegium, making analogue photos with Ky Lewis. Elliot Lind of Camp Trans presented a talk. Rebeka Clark led a site tour and Iain Boulton led a bat walk. On Sunday morning, John Cadera and Gehan de Silva Wijeyeratne led two bird walks. Details. Programme.

The Reveil collaborative sound and radio project brings together streamers to create a live audio loop around the Earth at daybreak. 181 dedicated streams comprised the broadcast. For details please see the list of streams for Reveil 2025. Reveil was mixed at Stave Hill in London by the Soundcamp cooperative. Additional mixes came from Valparaíso, Chile (Fernando Godoy), Sunshine Coast, Australia (Leah Barclay) and Chania Crete (Maria Papadomanolaki).

Soundcamp in 2025 was a project of the Soundcamp Cooperative with Stave Hill Ecological Park (TCV) and the Acoustic Commons network.
Streams form part of the live soundmap project operated by Locus Sonus Vitae at ESAAIX, Aix-en-Provence. They also come from independent projects and the environmental sound community at radio.earth.
The Reveil main mix was by our US broadcast partners, Wave Farm in Acra, Upper Hudson Valley, New York. Resonance Extra are our long-term UK broadcast partner. The show is carried each year in whole or in part by a network of participating FM and net radio stations listed here.
