| Walking from one place to another. A walking listening session with Alisa Oleva. We walk from one location to another, bringing places together or at least closer through our footsteps. What can we hear? Can we listen to these places as we move and as they move, through change? Who is here and who has left? Arriving, passing through, catching and letting go, staying and moving, resilient. This walk will connect -- Stave Hill Ecological Park -- Lavender Pond -- Surrey Docks Farm -- Russia Dock Woodland. As we walk - we listen, through various scores I will offer. We will listen for what is near and far, for our footsteps and footsteps of those who walked these paths before us, and for what is yet to come. We will pause, we will trace with our ears and with our fingers, we will promise to come back. |
