SOUNDCAMP LONDON

Saturday morning 04/05 – Sunday 05/05 May

Dear friends

As in past years, we* will be at Stave Hill Ecological Park over dawn chorus day (4 to 5 May) this year.

The soundcamp this year will be simplified, leaving space to listen to sounds of the ecology park and the Reveil broadcast together.

We will be very happy if you can join us.

PROGRAM
SAT 4 MAY
5AM Reveil daybreak broadcast starts
PM: In the Pacific – listening and conversations in the PITCH auditorium
8PM: Bat walk with Iain Boulton.
SUN 5 MAY
4.30AM: Dawn chorus walk with John Cadera.
6AM: Reveil ends. Breakfast.

VISITING AND CAMPING
As before, you are warmly invited to spend the day, with the option to camp overnight in the Stave Hill meadow.

** Please note some changes from last year **
We ask you to bring food and equipment with you, as if camping autonomously. There will be fires in the compound for cooking. There will also be breakfast on Sunday morning after the bird walk.

If you would like to camp, please email contact@soundtent.org with the following: your name, tent size, number of campers.

HELP
We would be very grateful for help with:
– making fires
– making coffee and tea
– greeting visitors
– setting up and taking down PITCH
– rigging sound
– transport and moving equipment
– making food for crew
– helping people set up tents and get settled
– things we forget

If you think you could help with any of these, please be in touch: contact@soundtent.org

The ] [ imply for us both a listening out and an open space. We are borrowing and slightly adapting with permission from the Free State of Galgael the invitation to:

Declare yourselves welcome!

Thanks and best wishes
Soundcamp Cooperative

[*] As ever, we are incomplete. This year happily some of us will be at soundcamps in St Vincent, Berlin and Tartu. But some of us will be (t)here at Stave Hill.
